As from Wednesday 30 January 2019, Perth’s world class rectangular stadium will officially be known as HBF Park following the announcement in November 2018 of a new sponsorship agreement between WA health insurer HBF and VenuesWest.

The change in naming rights partners follows a decision by nib to end its sponsorship of the venue in mid-2018.

VenuesWest A/CEO Peter Bauchop said he welcomes HBF’s support of this important venue in the State Government’s asset portfolio and thanks them for their ongoing support of sport and health in this State.

“The already successful partnership between HBF and VenuesWest will continue to promote our joint commitment to sport and health,” said Mr Bauchop.

“The State Government is committed to putting back into the State and as HBF is a West Australian organisation, it is a perfect fit for both the WA economy and the local community.”

In 2013, the State invested $95 million into the redevelopment of nib Stadium, which included the construction of the eastern and southern grandstands, as well as the installation of new electronic scoreboards.

Revenue generated from this sponsorship will be used to support high-performance sport, local community groups and enhance VenuesWest's facilities.
